About Me
I travel frequently (flying for a major airline), live in both NYC and the Dallas area, and am "window shopping" for another home in Ft. Lauderdale. Far-travelled with an open mind, making new friends from every background, nationality and lifestyle are valuable to me. Great conversation, laughter and new adventures are highly cherished, and I rarely slow down long enough to have a "middle-class, suburban" lifestyle.
Music
My tastes are both international and tremendously varied. The only music types I really don't care for are country western and rap.
Movies
Anything from the adventure genre, especially with an Ancient Greece theme. Sometimes political thrillers like the "Bourne" series. Occasionally one of the more eclectic films that NYC often has, but live performances are far more appealling to me. Like TV, not having anyone to share an evening at the movies with, I seldom take the time to go.

Books
The 4 Day Workweek, Think and Grow Rich, The Iliad, Robert E. Howard, Edgar Rice Burroughs, and hundreds of others...my personal library is substantial and varied.
Likes
Born on the ocean, I love sailing, surfing, scuba, beaches and boats. "Underground" art-parties in NYC and live performances, clothing-optional beaches occasionally, boredom is my mortal enemy! Walking along a beach at sunset with someone special...ah, perhaps one day I'll find her...
Dislikes
Smoking, drunks, rude behavior born out of ignorance. People with no ambition or goals who try to waste my time.
Hobbies
SCA, sailing, surfing, boats, festivals and events both in the U.S. and internationally.
Vices
I sometimes procrastinate, feeling I'm "not ready yet." As for drugs, alcohol and tobacco, I don't have room for these in my busy lifestyle.
Virtues
Ferociously loyal to those I care about. I make friends easily, and have many from every background and lifestyle-choice imaginable. Focused at times when running my businesses, but often the first to suggest going to some festival or event that no one has heard of yet. Educated, fun and funny, I love to make my friends laugh. Intensely romantic, I see the magic in two people holding hands and talking softly in a candlelit restaurant in the Village...join me for dinner?!
